Corneliu Porumboiu and his father, former referee Adrian Porumboiu, revisit a football match played in 1988 between Steaua and Dinamo, in the middle of a snowstorm, one year before Ceauşescu’s fall. The game becomes a reflection on memory, communism, and truth.
Costi leads a peaceful life and reads Robin Hood stories to his young son every night. One day, his neighbour reveals a secret: a treasure may be buried in his grandparents’ garden. Soon, the two men set off on an absurd adventure to find the treasure and get rich.
Paul is in the middle of shooting his latest feature film and is having an affair with an actress cast in a supporting role. The director decides to shoot a nude scene with her, but changes his mind the next morning. Gradually, the filmmaker’s life and the film itself begin to merge.
