Tennis player Andrei Pavel, invited at TIFF Lounge
Tennis player Andrei Pavel meets with the TIFF audience Monday, May 28, at 5 pm, at TIFF Lounge.

The talk, moderated by journalist Mihnea Măruţă, will take place after the screening of the documentary John McEnroe: In the realm of Perfection/ L’empire de la perfection (Dir. Julien Faraut), a captivating film-essay about the legendary John McEnroe.
Andrei Pavel debuted at the age of 16, and his professional career began in 1995. His record includes three ATP titles won at singles: Tokyo (1998), Sankt Poelten (2000) and Montreal (2001), and six titles at doubles: Bucharest (1998), Kitzbuhel (2005), Auckland (2006), Munhen (2006), Gstaad (2006) and Barcelona (2007). He is currently among the professionals in champion Simona Halep’s team.
