Among the highlights of this anniversary edition was Notte Morricone, a performance by Centro Coreografico Nazionale / Aterballetto. Created by Spanish choreographer Marcos Morau to the music of Ennio Morricone, reorchestrated by Maurizio Billi, the production brought 16 dancers to the stage in a contemporary dance performance inspired by the cinematic universe of the legendary Italian composer.

Another successful event was Film Food in the Orchard, an offshoot of the festival programme that brings together gastronomy and cinema, designed for those looking to spend an evening in nature with friends or family. In addition to a local producers’ market and a dinner prepared by chef Adi Hădean, the event also featured a screening of the classic comedy The Wing or the Thigh? (L’Aile ou la cuisse, dir. Claude Zidi, France, 1976), starring Louis de Funès.

Alongside the programme dedicated to the general public, the festival also hosted RO Days | Industry Events, which brought together more than 1,000 industry professionals, including directors, producers, distributors, sales agents, and representatives of international festivals and organizations.

Some of the films presented at Transilvania IFF.25 will also be available online. A selection of Romanian short films from Romanian Film Days will be available to watch free of charge on FestivalScope, while industry professionals will have access, through FestivalScope Pro, to an extended selection of films from the festival, including titles from the Official Competition, What’s Up, Doc?, and Romanian Film Days.
