The Fires

Anna Arnardóttir, a respected volcanologist and devoted wife and mother, finds her world shaken when a series of earthquakes signals the possible start of a new volcanic era in Iceland. As she races to warn the Civil Defense Committee of the growing threat to Reykjavík, her professional credibility falters and soon so does her personal life.
