Love-22-Love

Love-22-Love is an ode to love, art, and darkness. Creating art is filmmaker Kooijmans’ reason for being, yet it also drives him to deep despair: Kooijmans films himself as he descends into a psychosis. But above all, the film is a love letter to his wife, who has been the light at the end of his tunnel for over 30 years. Love-22-Love shows Kooijmans as vulnerable as he can possibly be. He goes further than he ever dared before, in a deeply personal film that is a declaration of love to life itself.
