On the outskirts of Bucharest, one hot summer day. Norica, a young waitress and Mitu, a pig-keeper, meet, taunt each other and play at who will drink and dare most... Their affair is more than one-night stand. It could easily turn into something like marriage if it weren't for Norica's intention to marry Gili, her 50ish boss and lover and the news that Mitu has to cover his military service for 2 years. Mitu's passion for Norica leads him into serious misdemeanors. Urged on by his obsession with her, he finally does the unforgivable.
