Nora

Director:
Carla Teaha

Poet, novelist and translator, 92-year-old Nora Iuga is a unique character on the Romanian contemporary literature scene, due to the author’s particular mix of playfulness, charisma and self-irony. Here is the story of a writer whose books were banned by communists for... "morbid eroticism". The documentary invites us to discover where this eroticism comes from and how it still influences Nora’s work and her life perspective. It also gives us an insight into the secret of always staying young.
