The Full Moon Creative Lab Residency Has Started in Oradea

Between March 10 and 15, 2025, 12 European screenwriters are participating in the second residency of the Full Moon Creative Lab 2024 - 2025 program, creatively developing genre series projects alongside international facilitators: Eilon Razkovsky, Arnaud Louvet, and Michaela Sabo. The residency is taking place in Oradea.

The second edition of Full Moon Creative Lab, a program initiated by the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF), is co-financed by the European Union and organized in partnership with Visit Oradea.

The call for applications for this edition was launched in June, and 12 screenwriters were selected by the jury from over 80 applications.

The three selected projects are:

Normal Porn For Normal People – Hiram Harrington (Ireland)

Marciban – Zsuzsanna Bak (Hungary)

Under the Mountain – Madeleine Feret Fleury (France)

During the creative residencies, these screenwriters will be joined by nine other colleagues from Romania, Germany, Estonia, Bulgaria, and Croatia:

Filip Columbeanu (Romania)

Iveta Stavreva (Bulgaria)

Eva Todică (Romania)

The facilitators working with the participants during the residency are:

Arnaud Louvet, screenwriter and producer (France)

Michaela Sabo, story development trainer (Slovakia)

A third meeting is scheduled for June 2025.

The program will conclude with a pitching session at the Transilvania International Film Festival (June 13 – 22, 2025), where industry professionals—producers, sales agents, representatives of TV networks, and streaming platforms—will provide opportunities for the projects to gain market support.

Full Moon Creative Lab is an annual creative workshop held in Transylvania, offering screenwriters the chance to enhance their skills with the guidance of international industry experts. The project aims to improve the creative process of screenwriters by connecting talented filmmakers from across the European Union.
