Making Waves: New Romanian Cinema opens on November 29 with Of Snails and Men (d. Tudor Giurgiu). Giurgiu and the leading actors Monica Bîrlădeanu and Andi Vasluianu will be in person at the Walter Reade Theater at Lincoln Center for post-screening discussions.
Of Snails and Men also marked the official opening of Transilvania IFF.
Recently, the film won the "Best Feature" award of the "Meeting Point" section during the 57th edition of Seminci: Valladolid International Film Festival (October 20-27).
