A true legend of Italian cinema, Ornella Muti will be celebrated at the 25th edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival (June 12–21, 2026) in Cluj-Napoca. The actress will receive the festival’s Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of an extraordinary career that has made her one of the most iconic figures in international cinema.

With a magnetic screen presence that has captivated generations of audiences, Muti has built a remarkable body of work spanning both auteur cinema and hugely popular Italian comedies. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with renowned filmmakers including Ettore Scola, Francesco Rosi, Woody Allen, Lucas Belvaux, Mike Figgis, and John Landis, creating a filmography that crosses genres, styles, and national cinemas.
