Seven Blessings
Marie was just two years old when her mother, who was blessed with many children, gave her to her barren sister, a common custom practiced by Moroccan Jews back in the day. Forty years later, in the 1990s in Israel, Marie returns from France after a long time of not being in touch with her family. As she marries her fiancé, she is walked down the aisle by both her "mothers”. As the entire family prepares for the Seven Blessings tradition, a week of festive meals in honour of the bride, Marie still harbours feelings of anger and pain and is desperate for an apology. Is she willing to ruin her own wedding to get it?
