Toñi, a middle-aged transgender woman, prays in a church to a miraculous saint to have a boyfriend. Then she meets Lahcen, a young and handsome Moroccan immigrant who has just arrived in Barcelona, and she falls in love with him. This relationship will cause a great scandal in Toñi's community, a scandal fueled by envy and distrust.
