Markéta closely cooperated with the Program Department of Karlovy Vary film festival for almost a decade, before boarding in 2004 the newly founded Czech Film Center and co- developed its agenda and position in Czech and international film environment. 

Since 2013 she is the Head of Czech Film Center, which has operated since 2017 as a division of the Czech Film Fund, the main public financing body for cinema in the Czech Republic. In May 2019, Markéta was named the president of the European Film Promotion.

After years of activating as a film critic and festival programmer, Greek-born Konstantinos moved to production in 2010 and has been consistently producing ever since. 

He has produced and co-produced more than 25 internationally acclaimed films, including BAFTA and Un Certan Regard winner How to Have Sex by Molly Manning Walker, Palme d’Or winner and Oscar- nominated Triangle of Sadness by Ruben Östlund, Angela Schanelek’s Berlinale winner Music and Uberto Pasolini’s upcoming The Return, which stars Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche. 

He was the Greek Producer on the Move in Cannes 2014 and he is a member of the European and the Hellenic Film Academies. In 2018, Konstantinos received the prestigious European Co- Production Award at the European Film Awards.

Sibel is a German actress with Turkish roots. With her debut in Fatih Akin's Head-On she gained major public attention. She has won twice the highest German movie award, the Lola, for Best Actress with Head-On and When We Leave. 

The recipient of an award at the Tribeca Film Festival, she became known internationally with her portrayal as Shae in the HBO award- winning series Game of Thrones. Sibel starred in several national and international productions like Winter Journey (2006), the very successful comedy What a Man (d. Matthias Schweighöfer) and multiple seasons of Tatort. 

Her latest appearances include the Finnish noir series Bullets (d. Özcan Alper) and Yunan (d. Ameer Fakher Eldin), which will be released later this year. Quite recently Kekilli also gave her theater debut at the Berliner Ensemble with "Fremd" by Michel Friedman. 

In her honor, TIFF will screen Head-On, the 2004 Golden Bear-winner, in a restored version.
