On Wednesday, the 2nd of June, at the Opera Naţională Română (National Opera) in Cluj-Napoca, the event-screening of the famous feature Dracula (directed by Tod Browning)  will take place, accompanied live by the Arcadia quartet (Ana Bogăţilă – violin, Răsvan Ionuţ Dumitru – violin, Traian Boală – viola, Török Zsolt – cello), playing music composed especially for the film by composer Philip Glass.

Philip Morris Glass is considered one of the most influential composers of the 20th century and a promoter of classical music. His film scores have been appreciated countless times, having won some of the most important awards, such as the Golden Globe (Best Original Score for The Truman Show) or BAFTA Awards (Anthony Asquith Award for The Hours).
