One of the distinct figures in the cinematography of the past decades, Geraldine Chaplin, will be celebrated at the 11th edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF), which will take place in Cluj-Napoca, from June 1st to June 10th. The well-known actress will receive The Lifetime Achievement Award Offered to an Outstanding Personality of the International Cinema on June 9, at the festival’s closing ceremony.
The audience will see Geraldine Chaplin at TIFF 2012 in a couple of her films, including one of her most recent, present this year at TIFF due to support of Independenta Film, Et si on vivait tous ensemble?/ And if we all lived together? (Director Stéphane Robelin, 2011), where she plays alongside Jane Fonda and Pierre Richard. The film was released worldwide last year, at the Locarno International Film Festival.
