Mildred Pierce is a 5 and a half hour about a divorced single mom Mildred Pierce who decides to open a restaurant business, which tears at the already-strained relationship with her ambitious elder daughter, Veda. The series was nominated 21 times at Emmy Awards, and Kate Winslet won Emmy and Golden Globe.
