On May 30, from 21:30 h, the public will be expected in the well-known open-air location, Cinema Echinox, to see a film that has influenced generations of filmmakers, artists and ballet dancers. The Red Shoes, directed by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger. An epic film from the Tehnicolor generation, awarded with two Oscars in 1949 for Best Art Direction-Set Decoration and Best Music, depicting both the backstage life of a ballet dancer and the enthusiasm of on stage performances. A fascinating story of a young ballet dancer, torn between the composer who loves her and the manager decided to turn her in a famous ballerina. This screening is presented by JTI and The British Council.
