The long awaited special guest of the 9th Transilvania IFF, director Wim Wenders, included in the 3x3 section and winner of the Lifetime Achievement Award presented to an outstanding personality of the European cinema, will meet the festival's audience for the free gala screening of Don't Come Knocking (2005), at 8 30 PM, in the Republica cinema.
Selected in the official competition of the Cannes Film Festival in 2005 and winner of the European Film Academy Award, the film tells the story of Howard Spence (Sam Shepard), a fading Hollywood star, who starts looking for the meaning of life once he finds out that he might have a child somewhere in the world.
