The submissions for the 4th edition of Transilvania Pitch Stop are now closed. We are happy to announce that more than 60 feature film projects coming from 1st and 2nd time directors were submitted for the co-production platform, extended internationally as of this year.
Selected projects to be announced by May 8th, 2017.
TPS will present 10 to 12 projects, currently in development and financing to international film professionals, facilitating their international visibility and establishing the right connections to ensure financing for their projects. Directors and producers of the selected projects will be invited to the industry event organized by Transilvania IFF on June 9th & 10th.
The eligible projects destined for European co-production come from: Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Greece, Turkey and Georgia. The program aims to foster cross-border cooperation especially between the Black Sea countries and other countries invited to be part of the initiative.
The jury will award the following prizes:
- Eurimages Co-production Development Award amounting to €20,000
- Post-production services offered by Chainsaw Europe, valued at €30,000
- Romanian Film Centre and Romanian Filmmakers’ Union Prize, amounting to €5,000
