Focus Israel & Francis Ford Coppola

Monday, starting at 17:30 h, the Arta Cinema will host a Best of short films from the well-known Sam Spiegel Film School, within the Focus Israel section. Beyadaim tovo / In Good Hands  (directed by Oded Davidoff),  Lag ba Omer / Bonfire Night (directed by Sharon Amrani), Harikud shel Ima / Mother's Dance (directed by Zelda Zoha) are three of the six titles that, for two hours, will make quite an impression on the Israeli cinema lovers.

From 20:30, at Republica Cinema, one of the traditional hosts of TIFF screenings and special events, the public will discover the story of the melancholic poet Tetro, who also gives the title of the film written and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The film was present in the Quinzaine des Réalisateurs section at Cannes Film Festival 2009, and is included in the festival section Supernova, presented by Electrogrup.
