Magor Bocsárdi studied violin at the Gheorghe Dima Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca, then took a degree in film directing at Sapientia University, Faculty of Photography, Film and Media. With advanced studies in violin, piano and trumpet, Magor Bocsárdi is both an actor and a composer of theatre and film music. In his career as a composer, Magor Bocsárdi has collaborated in more than 40 productions and won numerous awards for original music created for theatre performances, while as an actor he has worked with numerous theatre directors in Romania such as István Albu, László Bocsárdi, Botos Bálint, Gábor Tompa, but also in Hungary with film director Hajdú Szabolcs. Since 2007, he is the lead singer of the sZempöl Offchestra, where he also plays violin and trumpet.
