14 Emerging Filmmakers, 5 Days of Intensive Cinematic Exploration

From June 16 to 20, Cluj-Napoca will host a new edition of Transilvania Talent Lab (TTL), the training programme dedicated to emerging filmmakers from Romania and the Republic of Moldova, and, for the first time, one participant from Spain through a new collaboration with D’A Barcelona.

Over the course of five days, 14 participants will explore all stages of the filmmaking process – from idea development to audience engagement – through a focused series of masterclasses, special TIFF screenings, meetings with industry professionals, and hands-on discussions covering screenwriting, directing, production, project development, financing, international sales, festival strategies and pitching.

With the support of the Institut Francais and the Embassy of France in Romania, this year's edition welcomes several renowned French industry professionals: Flavien Eripret (Sales Agent – Goodfellas), Guillaume Calop (General Manager – Les Arcs Film Festival), Marie Balducchi (Producer – AGAT Films) and Thibaut Bracq (Script & Development Consultant – La Fabrique Cinéma). Through dedicated sessions, they will share their expertise on international co-productions, project development, festival strategies and international sales.

During the programme, participants will also attend sessions led by: Bonnie Williams (Pitching Coach – Speaking with Impact), David Pope (Script Consultant – Advance Films), Mihai Chirilov (Artistic Director – TIFF), Nickitin Nikolaj (Festival Programmer & Curator – Black Nights Film Festival), Oana Bujgoi Giurgiu (Executive Director & Producer – TIFF / Hai-Hui Entertainment) and Oana Iancu (Producer – The East End Company Productions).
