HBO Day at Transilvania IFF
On June 6, when HBO celebrates 15 years of existence, the public will have the chance to see an absolute premiere.
At Cinema Victoria, from 17.15 the HBO original production Bucharest: Year of the Dragon (dir. Julian Manuel Ghervas, Adina Popescu) will be screened - a documentary about the Chinese community in Romania. The directors of the film will attend the screening.
Another HBO original production, made in partnership with BBC, will have its national premiere: The Girl (dir. Julian Jarrold), a film about Alfred Hitchcock’s famous obsession for the actress Tippi Hedren (The Birds). The film will be screened at Cinema Florin Piersic, from 15.30. Entrance to both screenings is free.
