Our Summer Break

Ana arrives at the seaside, where her mother currently lives. Having not spoken in years, their relationship is still to be rediscovered. Throughout a day on the beach, they are trying to reconnect, by talking about their past, shared memories.
Just like revisiting the pictures of an old family album, the two women are striving for overcoming past mistakes and embracing the way they currently are – as two different women, but almost one and the same.
By slowly understanding each other’s way of communicating and personality patterns, they both realize that some things never truly change. While they are both redefined as feminine identities, their close mother-daughter connection is what they are looking to come at peace with.
