Pelikan Blue

Director:
László Csáki

With the fall of the Iron Curtain, Hungary's borders suddenly open up. Everyone wants to travel to Western Europe - young people in particular - but the price of train tickets is prohibitive. Akos, Petya and Laci discover a solution: by using simple household detergents they dissolve the Pelikan Blue ink, which allows them to forge train tickets to any destination. Not before long, they develop an entire business around their craft, but when the police start an investigation the three friends discover that freedom comes at a price.
