Devil’s Town
Devil's Town is a comedy that satirizes contemporary Serbian society with special accent on female issues. It is structured as a multiple story film with various related characters whose paths criss-cross in a single day when the entire nation is glued to the TV sets, watching national tennis stars playing in a major global tournament. The penniless ten years old Jelena tries to afford herself tennis equiment at the price of being humiliated by Ivana, the daughter of a wealthy prostitute. The prostitute’s daughter Ivana tries to find her real father. The rich teenager Ciril cannot accept the fact that his girlfriend Natalija left him. And so on...
