The Little Room

Director:
Stéphanie Chuat, Véronique Reymond

Rose and Marc are having a crisis in their relationship: they lost their child in the eighth month of pregnancy. Instead of bringing them closer together, however, their grief has driven a wedge between them. Marc wants to move forward, whereas Rose wants to close herself off. She makes house visits as a registered nurse and compensates her own pain by caring excessively for her patients. Edmond, a sour old man, rejects her help, even though he is partially blind. Initially, Rose is exasperated with this unbearable patient, but her attitude changes when she learns that he will soon be admitted to a nursing home against his will.
