The first edition of the Full Moon Script Contest for horror, fantasy, thriller, and black comedy screenplays announced its finalists for feature-length and series / miniseries pilots.
For feature-length scripts, the finalists are:
Instalator / Plumber, Lari Gligor and Iulian Stanciu
O fată singură în noapte / A Girl Alone in the Night , Sorana Borhina and Rodica Domințeanu
Bestia / The Beast, Claudiu Oprea
Convalescență / Convalescence, Bogdan George Drumea
Visuri de lemn dulce / Sweet Wood Dreams, Răzvan Mihai Badea
For series / miniseries pilots, the finalists are:
Delta Neagră / Black Delta, Dragoș Bucur and Sofia Bucur
Cazul Bâlea Lac / The Bâlea Lake Case, Alex Țibu and Șerban Racovițeanu
Adevăratul Prinț al Întunericului / The True Prince of Darkness, Ștefan Peca
Finalists will be invited to TIFF to pitch their projects to producers, funders, and other industry professionals. A jury made up by film directors Andrei Crețulescu and Constantin Popescu as well as Artistic Director of the Full Moon Horror and Fantasy Film Festival Cătălin Mesaru will select the winning project in each category, which will receive an award of EUR 1,500, to be announced during the closing gala of TIFF 2021.
The contest is dedicated to Romanian scriptwriters & filmmakers.
