In 1997, a surgeon named Aman is about to separate from his wife when he is abducted, trafficked across the country and forced to work under physical and psychological pressure in a labor camp run by two unlikely brothers: a fascist drunk Kazbek and a meek mute Hasan. Stripped of his rights and humanity and with no hope of escape, Aman’s only goal now is to survive. Meanwhile, Aman’s wife is relentless in her struggle to get the reluctant authorities involved in her desperate search for Aman.
