In anticipation to his live performance on Monday, May 30, at the Students’ House, Finnish artist Kimmo Pohjonen will meet the public, tonight, at 10 p.m., at the French Institute, after the special screening of Soundbreaker, an exceptional documentary about the artist’s career.
Using just his accordion, voice and sound effects, Kimmo Pohjonen’s music transcends all musical genres, his performances reminiscing the violence of Roman gladiators and medieval monks’ punishments. The Soundbreaker documentary is the journey of an exceptional artist interested in basic human truths.
