The line-up Transilvania International Film Festival's traditional showcase section of the most acclaimed recent features worldwide, SUPERNOVA, already looks inviting to Romanian and foreign festival attendants.

Susanne Bier, Denmark, 2010); Pernilla August's debut feature as a director, psychological drama Beyond (Sweden, 2010), winner of the International Critics' Week and the Christopher D. Smithers Foundation Special Awards at the last edition of the Venice Film Festival; John Cameron Mitchell's Rabbit Hole (USA, 2010), starring Academy Award nominee Nicole Kidman; Matias Bize's  The Life of Fish (Chile, 2010), winner of the Best Latin American Feature Goya Award in 2011; Poetry (South Korea, 2010), Lee Chang-Dong's Cannes Best Screenplay Award winning feature; A Sad Trumpet Ballad (dir.  Álex de la Iglesia, Spain, 2010), winner of the Silver Lion for Best Directing and the Best Screenplay Award in Venice 2010; Mike Leigh's Academy Award nominated Another Year (USA, 2010), selected in the official competition of the Cannes Film Festival; Brother and Sister (dir.
