Three well-known actors will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award during the Transilvania IFF Closing Gala, Saturday June 9th.
One of the distinct figures in the cinematography of the past decades, Geraldine Chaplin, will be celebrated during the 11th edition of the Transilvania International Film Festival (TIFF). Friday, June 8, the actress will attend a special screening organized in her honor with The City of No Limits directed by Antonio Hernandez. Actor, theatre director and cultural manager, Ion Caramitru will receive the Lifetime Achievement Award together with Mari Törőcsik, one of the most beloved Hungarian actresses.
Special guest at TIFF, Dieter Kosslick, director of Berlin International Film Festival and one of the most important professionals in the industry, comes to Cluj for the first time. Thursday, June 7th Kosslick will introduce the screening of Tabu (d. Miguel Gomes), film awarded with the Alfred Bauer Award and the FIPRESCI Prize at Berlin 2012.
