Elsa is an advertising director whose mother dies during a long December holiday. She works non-stop and, without realising, doesn’t give herself time to mourn her mother’s absence.
Two down-on-their-luck jazz musicians find themselves out of a job and on the run after the police raid the speakeasy where they perform and they inadvertently witness a gang war. With no money and nowhere to hide, they join an all-female band headed to Florida.
