In an ultra-modern Paris of glass and steel, where familiar landmarks appear only as fleeting reflections, Monsieur Hulot wanders through a whirring office complex, an exhibition of new inventions and an upscale party, repeatedly crossing paths with a group of American tourists.
Elsa is an advertising director whose mother dies during a long December holiday. She works non-stop and, without realising, doesn’t give herself time to mourn her mother’s absence.
