Who can apply for TPS co-production platform?

The program is open to feature-length fiction film projects of 1st and 2nd time filmmakers coming from Romania, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, Ukraine, Russia, Moldova, Greece, Turkey and Georgia.

The project can be in different stages of development, but a first draft of the script must be available if selected.

The project must have at least 20% of the budget secured.

It is preferable for projects to be designed from the outset as a European co-production, both artistically and financially, but it is not mandatory.

How does TPS work?

A selection committee will be nominated and 10 feature film projects will be invited for TPS.

Once a project is selected, the director and producer are invited for the TIFF industry events that take place between the 29th and 31st of July.

Attending the public presentations, one-to-one meetings and discussions, either online or physically, is mandatory.

All participating projects will be showcased in a projects' booklet.

All awarded projects must mention in their ending credits: “presented in the Transilvania Pitch Stop” together with the official logo. The logo will be sent upon request.
