Transilvania IFF.25 Films on FestivalScope

A selection of films from Transilvania IFF.25 is now available on FestivalScope Pro, where film industry professionals can access titles from the festival’s competitions and from Romanian Days (feature films and short films), alongside a separate selection of Romanian Days short films available free of charge to the general public.

The Official Competition section includes Lionel (dir: Carlos Saiz), winner of the Transilvania Trophy, Titanic Ocean (dir: Konstantina Kotzamani), awarded Best Director, Our Father (dir: Goran Stanković), recipient of the Special Jury Award, Feels Like Home (dir: Gábor Holtai), winner of the Audience Award, and Truly Naked (dir: Muriel d’Ansembourg), which received both the Best Performance Award and the Ecumenical Jury Award.

The selection also features Variations on a Theme (dir: Jason Jacobs, Devon Delmar), which received a Special Mention in the What’s up, Doc? section, alongside Bouchra (dir: Meriem Bennani, Orian Barki), Far from Maine (dir: Roy Cohen), Goodbye Sisters (dir: Alexander Murphy), Hex (dir: Maja Holand), Motel Paradise (dir: José Eduardo Castilla Ponce), Of Mud and Blood (dir: Jean-Gabriel Leynaud), and We Were Left Alone (dir: Adrián Canoura).

From Romanian Days, the selection available on FestivalScope Pro includes Y (dir. Maria Popistașu, Alexandru Baciu), winner of the Romanian Days Best Feature Film Award, Don’t Let Me Die (dir. Andrei Epure), recipient of the FIPRESCI Award, A River’s Gaze (dir. Andreea Cristina Borțun), A Safe Place (dir. Cecilia Ștefănescu), Atlas of the Universe (dir. Paul Negoescu), Blindsight (dir. Adrian Sitaru), Catane (dir. Ioana Mischie), Dracula (dir. Radu Jude), Lenin’s Pawn (dir. Dragoș Turea), Milk Teeth (dir. Mihai Mincan), On Our Own (dir. Tudor Cristian Jurgiu) and Something Familiar (dir. Rachel Taparjan).

 

Also available are the short films Bittersuite (dir. Iris Reșit), Shot Reverse Shot (dir. Radu Jude, Adrian Cioflâncă), Index (dir. Radu Muntean), Someday a Child (dir. Marie-Rose Osta), and Tatie Lica, the Hunchback (dir. Paul-Răzvan Macovei).

A free short film selection will also be available to all viewers on festivalscope.com, featuring County Captain (dir. Dan Panaet), winner of the Best Romanian Short Film Award in Romanian Days, How I Learned Not To Kill Myself (dir. Norbert Boda), Index (dir. Radu Muntean), and Shot Reverse Shot (dir. Radu Jude, Adrian Cioflâncă). The selection will be available on FestivalScope Pro for one year, while the public free-access version will remain available for one month.
