TIFF STUDIO DISCOVERY

Innovative programs in animation, experimental films, acting, film language and so much more for kids, youths and teenagers. With courses after school, on weekends, and in the evenings, there will be something for everyone. Each edition of our young audience project will be opened for students of all ages grouped in three categories:

Age 5-8: TIFF Studio Discovery Kids
The participants will be introduced to the world of animation and experimental film. In the end they will create their own story and character, make the soundtrack and take home a short animation. Participants/Group: 15.

Age 9-13: TIFF Studio Discovery Youths
This course is designed for students who are new to being on-camera or those who want to further develop their audition skills and confidence.  At the end of each workshop they will shoot a scene developed with a professional actor. Participants/Group: 16.

Age 14-18: TIFF Studio Discovery Teenagers
Participants will have the opportunity to cover all the steps of film making, under the supervision of film professionals and using modern equipment. Participants/Group: 15.
