InfiniTIFF - The TIFF section dedicated to the future of audiovisual content returns this year in a new formula. In line with the objectives outlined in the InfiniTIFF Manifesto two years ago, at this edition of TIFF we are launching  a year-long incubator dedicated to creative projects.

A limited number of artists, creative entrepreneurs, cultural managers, or IT industry professionals will be invited to participate in an experimental program dedicated to those who want to develop new media (VR, AR, XR, or interactive) cultural projects.

Under the motto “Imagine. Team up. Innovate!" the program will offer creatives in any industry who want to start with an idea for a product / application / cultural service that involves new media the chance to develop a pitch for funders, sponsors, cultural operators, technology providers or local authorities who can help them deliver memorable cultural experiences.

On July 27-28, during the 2021 TIFF industry events, participants will be trained by Peter Barta, the creator of Long Run method for entrepreneurial education and training.

Following these two days of in-person training, selected participants will be coached on-line for two and a half months on the process of shaping their ideas for their products / applications / services / cultural experiences, after which, in mid-October, they will again be reunited for an in-person event which will bring them together with potential investors, sponsors, technological partners, partner institutions, and local authorities who will listen to their pitches and offer help to implement their innovative ideas over the coming years.

Those interested in participating should create an Eventival account at https://vp.eventival.eu/tiff/2021 and fill in the InfiniTIFF form by July 8, 2021. Selected projects will be announced on July 11, 2021.

Started as an experience for a broad audience, InfiniTIFF became in 2019 a think tank for AV professionals; it is once again evolving by offering cultural operators, creative entrepreneurs, and tech partners new ways to cooperate and finance projects.
