Selected projects for the fourth edition of the Drama Room at TIFF.23

The fourth edition of the Drama Room programme, dedicated to directors, screenwriters, and producers who want to develop series or mini-series, has announced the selected projects. Their creators will participate in the Transilvania International Film Festival (June 14-24, 2024, Cluj-Napoca), where they will take part in panels led by top experts from the film industry, as well as applied feedback sessions.

The lead tutor of Drama Room 2024 is Eilon Ratzkovsky, a film producer with over 25 years of experience, who in recent years has been a mentor for TorinoFilmLab and Biennale College Cinema.

In the final days of the programme, participants will present their projects in a pitch session open to industry professionals. The jury, made up of Gabriela Iacob (PRO TV), Adina Sădeanu (co-creator and co-writer of the HBO Max series SPY/MASTER) and Sean Wheelan (Filmgate Films), will award one of the projects the Award for the best series - Best Series Project Award – Development agreement signed with PRO TV. 

The five projects selected for Drama Room 2024 are:

NO MORE UBER CRYING (Carina-Gabriela Dașoveanu, Andrei Fecioru)

THE THIEVES ACADEMY (Dragoș Bucur, Dorian Boguță, Octav Chelaru)
