Kostas and Dima fell in love in the 1980s, when they were soldiers in the Russian army, and then Dima joined Kostas in Lithuania. But after the fall of communism, Kostas left to study in New York, leaving Dima behind. Kostas, now an established author, has published a book based on their separation. Upon reading it, Dima pays a visit, eager to correct a few facts.
