The impressive career of French director Claude Lelouch (74 years old) will be celebrated at TIFF 2012, Wednesday June 6

Claude Lelouch will meet the filmgoers at TIFF Lounge at 17.00 in a discussion moderated by Mihnea Măruță.

Working within the borders of cinéma d'auteur and mainstream cinema, Claude Lelocuh doubled the positive reviews received from film critics for A Man and a Woman with a record number of 4 millions spectators.

From the 3X3 section comes another huge success both at box-office and critics, the musical Les uns et les autres, awarded at Cannes in 1981. The film also casts Geraldine Chaplin, the other personality to be awarded with a Lifetime Achievement Award at TIFF 2012. The third movie in 3X3 is the last year's documentary D'un film a l'autre, reviews all of Lelouch 43 movies and the 51 years of his Production Company Les Films 13.
