Safety rules for the 2021 edition

Transilvania International Film Festival will abide by all safety measures in order to prevent and limit the spread and contamination of the SARS-Cov-2 coronavirus and all measures are inline with the Government decree no.29 of 14.05.2021. The access rules for events which are part of TIFF are subject to change.

Screenings

Access to screenings will only be permitted by wearing face masks throughout the whole show. The maximum capacity of each venue will be limited to 70%.

Workshops, Conferences and Meetings

Only up to 150 persons will be allowed indoors and up to 200 outdoors while maintaining and assuring at least a 2sqm surface for each person in attendance.  A face mask is also mandatory in order to participate.

Access will only be permitted to individuals which meet one of the following criterias:

  • have been vaccinated against Covid-19 and have completed their vaccination scheme more than 10 days prior to the event
  • Are able to present a negative RT-PCR test that has been performed no more than 72 hours prior to the event
  • Are able to present a negative Antigen test that has been certified by a medical entity and has been performed no more than 24 hours prior to the event
